A charitable gesture from the new town Mayor

We are delighted to announce that the new Houghton Regis Mayor Cllr Ken Wattingham has selected 1st/3rd Houghton Regis Scout Group as one of his charities for the year. In his speech Cllr Wattingham commended the group on being an active and important part of the local community.

This has all been possible thanks to the youngsters, parents and carers and our leadership and executive team showing a fantastic community spirit.

The year ahead promises to be a very busy year for the group but also rewarding in continuing to increase our activity in the community. We look forward to your support over the coming year in this great adventure.
